Don Crowder, played by Raúl Esparza (above) in “Candy,” knew Candy Mongomery and Betty Gore from church and was hired by Montgomery to defend her. Per Texas Monthly, Crowder was a partner at a small firm and primarily focused on personal injury cases. The Montgomery case was his first criminal case as well as his first murder case. He decided to enlist the help of psychiatrist Fred Fason, who administered a series of tests to Montgomery and recreated the day of Gore’s murder with Montgomery via hypnosis.

OK, this was probably true even before the deadline, but coming out of trade season, it feels like the Shamrocks are running unopposed for Eastern Conference supremacy. For most of this season, the consensus was there were three inner-circle contenders in the East: the Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin revealed Lillard will play during an appearance Wednesday on NBA Today. The Bucks have gotten off to a 1-1 start to the preseason. Neither Lillard nor Giannis Antetokounmpo played in the first two games. Milwaukee acquired Lillard last month in a blockbuster trade that's expected to shift the NBA championship dynamic for this season.
